Perseid

Routines that end on time.

Plan the cuts. Stay on time. You choose what can go the night before, and when the morning slips, Perseid drops it and tells you out loud.

The iPhone beta is open. Here's how to join.

26 seconds. The morning has to end by 8:00. Someone comes to the door, coffee runs almost four minutes over, and Perseid says: "Dropping smoothie to make the deadline, and wash blender, which needs it."

The best-laid plans often go awry.

Most routine apps plan for a perfect morning. Then the bathroom's taken, someone can't find their other shoe, and the plan is gone by 7:20.

Other timers squeeze every step a little, or make you skip things one at a time while the clock runs. Perseid knows which steps depend on which: skip the wash and drying your hair goes with it. And when there's genuinely nothing left to cut, it says so, rather than inventing a plan that can't work.

What it does

Everything it does

Run it. Read it. Refine it.

Every run is logged to a file you own: what ran long, what got cut, when you actually left. Share it with the AI assistant you already use, ask what keeps going wrong, and adjust the routine, or let an assistant with access to the folder make the change for you. Tomorrow's plan fits your real mornings a little better. Celebrate getting the important things done and leaving on time, not an unbroken streak.

Try the beta

Perseid isn't in the App Store yet, but the iPhone beta is open on TestFlight, Apple's app for testing new apps. It's free, and it needs iOS 18 or later.

Leave your email and I'll add you. TestFlight then emails you an invitation: install TestFlight from the App Store, open the invitation on your iPhone, and Perseid installs from there.

When something goes wrong, tap Report a bug — in a run it's under More, and on the Routines screen it's in the More menu. Tap Send… and it opens as an email to feedback@perseid.app, with what happened and when. You see everything in the report before it goes.

Each TestFlight build expires after 90 days, and a new build installs over the old one. Your routines and run history are files in your own iCloud Drive, so they stay put when the build changes.
